OKAY, IT’S TIME I SHARE A SECRET WITH YOU
I’ve been thinking and planning a lot lately. New ideas, new projects. All while trying to build a new me in terms of my own health. Which made me realise I want to teach you something:
I want to teach you how not to go to the doctor!
Yes, that’s right. A doctor asking you to avoid going to the doctor. But for good reasons only. And more than telling you, I need to show you instead, through 1) a set of good health habits and 2) through my own journey while experimenting on myself. As I’ll be sharing it all over the internet, oh yes.
During the last 2 years I’ve been into a process of fixing some digestive troubles I’ve had all my life, changing diets, experimenting things on myself again, and realising a lot on the impact of those changes in my body. It’s taken a lot of time, seems like it, but it has certainly paid off. And I want to teach you how. (Subscribing to my newsletter is a good start!)
Since I can finally control my digestive issues, I’ve been wanting to improve some more things within my own health. I’ve been increasing regular water intake, along with the exercise routine. So many discoveries and changes in my body that I feel the urge to start sharing it all, slowly, day by day, in a practical way in case you’re going (or wanting to go) through the same path.
The path of mastering simple body hacks (good healthy habits) to improve your feeling of well-being. For the sake of simply feeling better.
I’ve decided to put myself through a regular exercise routine too (yes, as surprising as it may seem, being a doctor doesn’t train you to be actually healthier yourself…sad reality!). And I must also admit I haven’t been a sports person at all ever. But it feels good already, I must say as well.
Good Health Habits? Yaaaas, please!
I’m just on the planning stage here as this will be a BIG project, or more likely, my entire life’s reason for working on this quest. I will be talking a lot about good habits: what are them, why do we need them, how to accomplish them, how to get through the difficult process of change, and also how I’m getting through it. Because nothing like one’s experience is as valuable, even more on real time, as for sharing and helping others.
While in this journey, not just as a doctor 15 years ago but also as a human being trying to feel better, I’ve been able to understand so many common health issues from our modern world. Issues that despite being quite obvious, many times we all fail to asses, even as doctors, because they seem so basic that we ignore them. And guess what? We’re doing it wrong! This is where my sense of purpose kicks in.
All those issues have allowed me to understand how we all need to go back to basics (not just doctors at work).
We all need to relearn how to sleep better, eat better, move more, hydrate more, and we’ll soon discover how our life will improve in every sense. Is most likely that so many modern day health issues can be prevented and/or tackled before hand if we do some tweaks to our lifestyle. Which is exactly what I want to help you with.
Since working hard during the last 2 years on this health and lifetime project, I’ve been now able to open my online medical consultation, released my first ebook, I’ve written articles while travelling, seeking and finding good habits worldwide that could help improve everyone’s health no matter our location. We can certainly learn a lot from each other!
